The 2020 album from Sensory Triggered is available on all platforms. It was recorded between 2018 and 2020 and was completely self-produced.
Comprised of eleven tracks it features the songs, Summer Nights, In a Former Life, Baby Blue and Wilderness. The artwork was inspired by the subject of the song 'Baby Blue' and depicts the Longford/Essoldo cinema in Stretford.
On a sunny September afternoon, I sat with Martin Zero to drink tea and chat all things music, Manchester and beyond! As some of you probably know, I make music for his channel and hopefully this will provide a bit of an insight to that as well!
Pleased to share with you By My Side. This song was initially written and recorded back in Spring 2013 and has always been one of my favourites, as well as a favourite of many who followed my music from earlier on. In the summer of 2016, I was privileged to play this song live for David Gates, a singer/songwriter whom I have loved and respected ever since I first started discovering music. This man taught me a great deal about how to write songs, purely through listening to his music and he has had a massive influence in my writing style. David liked the song but suggested a little change in the chord progression for the final chorus, so it has been my intention to re-record and release this for a while now.
So here is the 2019 version of By My Side as a standalone single. The song was produced by Sensory Triggered and mastered by Oliver Shillito.
Pageant of a Happening
The debut album, “Pageant of a Happening” is available on all DSPs. It features the single, “Get It Right” which has had airplay on BBC Radio Wales’ Adam Walton Show and Rhondda Radio.
The album is a real mixture of sonic palettes from jangly radio-friendly bangers to dark, atmospheric ballads with some retro synth sounds peppered throughout. It's indie music but with emotion.
Mostly recorded between 2017 and 2018, some of the tracks began life as early as 2013.
Manchester based producer, Oliver Shillito produced and mixed lead single, Get It Right as well as Nothing's Changed and Please Stop Talking. The album was also mastered by Oliver Shillito.
